Financial well-being is not just about numbers—it is about confidence, choice, and freedom.

“Financial well-being is a state of being wherein a person can meet current and ongoing financial obligations, can feel secure in their financial future, and is able to make choices that allow them to enjoy life.” (CFPB, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, US).

It is well known that compared to men, women often feel more under-confident in their skills to manage money. This feeling of incapacity and lack of control negatively impacts their financial well-being.

Compared to men, women in Europe:

  • Earn 12.7% less than men on average (European Central Bank, 2026)
  • Have 25% lower pensions compared to men (Eurostat, 2026)
  • Are 80% more likely to retire in poverty (European Central Bank, 2026)
  • Invest 29% less of their monthly income on average (N26.com)

My academic background in accounting strengthened by my research in financial behaviour of women allows me the opportunity to propose my services in the area of promoting financial well-being for women (not only).

I propose two formats for financial well-being coaching – single sessions and bundles of multiple sessions.

My proposal

Single sessions

Single sessions are useful when you have a particular financial topic to work on, such as ‘how to get started on saving for the future, understanding fixed versus variable expenses in your budget’ etc.
